DoneBun is developed and operated by Clover Anvil LLC ("Clover Anvil," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how DoneBun handles information when you use the application.
Information stored on your device
DoneBun is designed primarily as an offline application.
Information such as your routines, tasks, micro-steps, notes, routine history, settings, reminders, and in-progress sessions is stored locally on your device.
Clover Anvil does not operate an account system or cloud database containing your DoneBun routine data.
Your routine names, task names, micro-step text, notes, and other user-authored routine content are not intentionally sent to Firebase Analytics.
Backups
DoneBun allows you to manually export and import backup files.
Backup files are created only when you choose to export them and are saved to a location you select. Clover Anvil does not receive or store those backup files.
If you save a backup to a third-party storage provider, that provider's privacy practices apply to the copy stored there.
Analytics
DoneBun uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the application is used and to improve its features and usability.
Analytics may collect information such as:
- App launches and sessions
- Screens viewed
- General app interactions
- Use of DoneBun features and routine modes
- App version and operating system information
- Device characteristics
- Approximate geographic information derived from network information
- A pseudonymous app-instance identifier
- In-app purchase events
DoneBun also records a limited set of custom usage events, such as whether a routine was created or completed, which routine mode was used, whether a timer or break was started, and whether certain app features were used.
DoneBun's custom Analytics events are designed not to include routine names, task names, micro-step text, notes, reminder text, backup filenames, search terms, purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, or other user-authored content.
DoneBun does not assign a custom account or user ID to Analytics.
Advertising identifier collection, advertising storage, advertising user-data signals, and advertising-personalization signals are disabled for DoneBun's Firebase Analytics integration. Google Mobile Ads is a separate service described below.
Crash reporting
DoneBun uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes, errors, and reliability problems.
Crash reports may include information such as:
- Crash and exception information
- Stack traces
- App version and build information
- Device model and operating system information
- App state at the time of a crash
- Diagnostic information
- Pseudonymous installation and session identifiers
DoneBun may attach limited technical context to crash reports to assist with troubleshooting. This context is designed to avoid user-authored routine, task, micro-step, and note content.
Advertising
DoneBun includes Google Mobile Ads.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process information including IP address, approximate location derived from network information, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google may use this information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and related purposes.
During testing, DoneBun may use Google's test advertising units rather than live advertisements.
Advertising data handling is separate from DoneBun's Firebase Analytics configuration.
Purchases
DoneBun offers optional purchases through Google Play or Apple's App Store, including features such as removing advertisements or supporting development.
Payment information is processed by the applicable app store. Clover Anvil does not directly receive or store your full payment card information.
DoneBun may receive purchase status and product information necessary to provide purchased features and restore eligible purchases.
Firebase Analytics may also record app-store purchase events.
Notifications
DoneBun can schedule local notifications and reminders.
Routine and reminder information used for these notifications is processed on your device. DoneBun does not operate a remote push-notification service for routine reminders.
How information is used
Information collected through Analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and app-store services may be used to:
- Operate and maintain DoneBun
- Understand how DoneBun is used
- Improve features and usability
- Diagnose crashes and technical problems
- Provide and restore purchases
- Display and measure advertising
- Detect fraud, abuse, or security problems
- Comply with legal obligations
Service providers
DoneBun uses services provided by third parties, including:
- Google Firebase and Google Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Google Mobile Ads
- Google Play Billing
- Apple App Store and StoreKit on Apple devices
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.
Data retention and deletion
Routine data stored locally by DoneBun remains on your device until you delete it, replace it through an import where applicable, clear DoneBun's application data, or uninstall the application.
Manually exported backup files remain wherever you choose to save them until you delete them.
Analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, and app-store information is retained according to Clover Anvil's configured service settings and the applicable retention practices of the service providers.
Firebase Crashlytics retains crash-related information according to Firebase's published retention practices.
Because DoneBun does not have user accounts and does not assign a Clover Anvil user identifier, some analytics and diagnostic information is pseudonymous and may not be directly identifiable as belonging to a particular person.

Data security
Clover Anvil takes reasonable measures to protect information handled through DoneBun. Third-party services used by DoneBun generally encrypt transmitted information using secure transport such as TLS.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
DoneBun is not intended for children under 13. Clover Anvil does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DoneBun changes or as legal, platform, or service requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL with an updated revision date.
